Me? It's Moebius. It's his Starwatcher character. I'm not sure if it appeared in any of Moebius's stories. It may be just a stand-alone print (or set of prints). I Googled it and see it can be found in an Art of Moebius book. Aside from that, I'm not sure if the drawing, or character, appears in any of the graphic novels. It seems like it should be. But I just don't know.
What are you reading now? (Chapter 2)

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Have you described him that way previously? Because those exact words came to mind when I typed my original post, but I'd forgotten to include them.

Very intriguing mix of eras/genres - love her curls and what looks like sewn skins uniform on an airship??Me? It's Moebius. It's his Starwatcher character. I don't think so, Tatt. It's clearly a case of long-distance intra-forum telepathy...tattuchu wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 3:12 pmHave you described him that way previously? Because those exact words came to mind when I typed my original post, but I'd forgotten to include them.

Tatt ....still born
Was there not a sequence like that in Heavy Metal
https://boingboing.net/2018/10/01/watch ... tcher.htmlI almost did the first computer-animated feature after that, it was called Star Watcher, we had the story, we had the preparation done, we were ready to start. But it came apart; the company did not give us the approval. It was too far, the concept to do everything in computer animation.

Re: What are you reading now? (Chapter 2)
I'm now re-reading Breaking the Spell by Dan Dennett. It contains this interesting, (but anonymous) quote:
"Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned"
Pithy, with nice symmetry between the two phrases. But, of course, it hinges on two very different meanings of the word "may"...

Too many things really... from fungal physiology and other microbiology to electronics, but mostly bogged down with tedious prep for an upcoming certification in early childhood education through 6th.
Imagine that. I guess it's only coincidental that you'd already be the perfect citizen in the ideal world you're selling.

Just started 'The US Anti-fascism Reader' edited by Bill V. Mullen and Christopher Vials, Verso, 2021.
Yeah, it's a laugh-a-minute roller-coastering page turner.

I have a pile of paperbacks to do, like the dopamine book. But I got a book by Eric Kandel in the mail and quickly read about a third of it. He covers the early part of neurology findings, 1900s, and then his own discovery
