Why not? I applaud his efforts to show the world how phony the US Senate is.
If he really wants to help he'll let a parrot do it.
If he really wants to help he'll let a parrot do it.
Imagine that. I guess it's only coincidental that you'd already be the perfect citizen in the ideal world you're selling.

I'm pretty sure Giuliani and Sydney Powell are available. His real lawyers are regretfully withdrawing due to irreconcilable differences. Somebody who has been opposing counsel: 'These are honorable ethical lawyers I've dealt with for many many years.' In other words, they looked at what Trump was telling them to do and declined the honor.
'Trump's top impeachment lawyer has left his team'
'Trump's top impeachment lawyer has left his team'
Former President Donald Trump has lost his top impeachment lawyer just days before his trial is to begin, a person familiar with his legal strategy and two attorneys close to the team confirmed on Saturday night.
Butch Bowers, a South Carolina lawyer who was reportedly set to play a major role in the Senate’s trial of the former president, is now no longer with the team. Deborah Barbier, another South Carolina lawyer, won’t be either. The person described it as a “mutual decision” and said new names will be announced shortly.
In addition, CNN reported on Saturday night that a third member of Trump's prospective legal team, Josh Howard, was also leaving. The network reported that the ex-president had wanted his lawyers to focus on erroneous arguments of mass election fraud rather than the constitutionality of impeaching an ex-president.

Oh, the joys that the US denied itself when it refused to reelect Trump.
'Trump officials actively lobbied to deny states money for vaccine rollout last fall'
'Trump officials actively lobbied to deny states money for vaccine rollout last fall'
Top Trump officials actively lobbied Congress to deny state governments any extra funding for the Covid-19 vaccine rollout last fall — despite frantic warnings from state officials that they didn’t have the money they needed to ramp up a massive vaccination operation.
The push, described to STAT by congressional aides in both parties and openly acknowledged by one of the Trump officials, came from multiple high-ranking Trump health officials in repeated meetings with legislators.
Without the extra money, states spent last October and November rationing the small pot of federal dollars they had been given. And when vaccines began shipping in December, states seemed woefully underprepared.
The previously unreported lobbying efforts underscore that even after the Trump administration spent billions helping drug makers develop Covid-19 vaccines, it not only dismissed states’ concerns about the help they would need to roll them out, but actively undermined their efforts to press Congress to get the funding they needed.
Much of the lobbying push came from Paul Mango, the former deputy chief of staff for policy at the Department of Health and Human Services. He argued, repeatedly, that states hadn’t demonstrated they needed additional funding because, at least as of last October, they hadn’t spent the $200 million that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sent to states in September.

Trump will have to represent himself. First he will ask the senate to do their duty and vote to stop the impeachment. In the second hour, he will have then overturn the election. Then he will have them pass an amendment to the constitution, scrapping term limits to any candidate named Trump. It will take till March to have the states approve it.

He doesn't need a defense. He didn't need one the first time.

Jared Kushner nominated for Nobel peace prize
Kushner and his deputy Avi Berkowitz join Greta Thunberg and Alexei Navalny on the nominations list
Former White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and his deputy, Avi Berkowitz, have been nominated for the Nobel peace prize for their role in negotiating four normalisation deals between Israel and Arab nations known as the “Abraham Accords”.
Kushner, who is Trump’s son-in-law, and Berkowitz, who was the Middle East envoy, were key figures in negotiating deals between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco.
The two former deputies to then-President Donald Trump were nominated by American attorney Alan Dershowitz, who was eligible to do so in his capacity as a professor emeritus of Harvard Law School. Dershowitz defended Trump in his first impeachment trial last year and told the Wall Street Journal on 20 January that the Senate should dismiss the article of impeachment against the former president, as he was no longer in office.

Make love not war. And there is nothing in the constitution about blow jobs. There is about insurrections. And disloyalty.

Having sexual relations with an underling in the workplace on work time? Well, it might not be a high crime but it's got to be a misdemeanor at least. Surely?

The Marine's version isn't accurate. Clinton was impeached for lying under oath about his dalliance. There was nothing illegal about the dalliance itself, though it was problematic in other days.

Trump still carrying the 40% that voted for him twice:
Half of Americans believe the Senate should convict former President Trump of inciting an insurrection, according to a Marist poll released Monday.
With Trump’s impeachment trial in the Senate drawing closer, 50 percent of Americans believe that the Senate should find the now-former president guilty for his role in stoking the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol that left five people, including a Capitol Police officer, dead.
Forty-one percent of respondents said Trump should be acquitted, according to the Marist poll.

In Dublin airport the US customs have a pre-clearance area, run by Homeland Security, where you can get cleared by US customs over here and just walk out of the airport Stateside, if cleared. I believe we're, or at least were, the only country to have such an arrangement.
I got a call there today, we don't get many calls these days, but I got a call there today and when I entered the area the first thing I noticed was the blank space where Trump's fat head used to over-look the area.
It felt good.
