I've also always thought of the harpsichord solo of B'burg #6 as the enlightenment version of Van Halen's Eruption - something that redefines what it means to talk about instrumental technique.

Re: Incredibly Strange Music
The harpsichord is continuo throughout #6, and anyway, I can't imagine no van Allen belting it out if there were. OK, it's not strange music at all, but any excuse will do for rolling out Bach once more, so I just blame you for that.Brian Peacock wrote:I've also always thought of the harpsichord solo of B'burg #6 as the enlightenment version of Van Halen's Eruption - something that redefines what it means to talk about instrumental technique.
Bonus eye candy, those violas.

For Brian, I like the rock-metal arrangement of the bagpipe music with bass and other guitars!

The mix of the traditional and the contemporary reminds of The Armenian Navy Band.DRSB wrote:For Brian, I like the rock-metal arrangement of the bagpipe music with bass and other guitars!
