Roger Zelazny, Jack of Shadows, which I took up again a bit by chance, but which seems a worthy reread.

very engaging and well written and researched account of the lead up and passing of the Declaration of Independence.
One is left wondering what the founders might think of the current situation.

Highly recommended to those interested in history.

I believe my next book club is doing a double shot of Sam Harris, Free Will and Letter To A Christian Nation. I've read Letter before, but it's been some while. I also know that letter has received a considerable amount of legitimate criticism for the sloppiness of Harris' arguments. As the lightning rod in this particular atheist book club, I feel the onus upon me to refamiliarize myself with both. "Oh bother."

I joined a Buddhist reading club, and they're doing Thich Nhat Hanh's commentaries on the Diamond Sutra, starting next Sunday. I'm not seeing any book club selections on the immediate horizon, but that's likely because I haven't looked more than a week out. Tending to watch a lot of TV lately: NCIS, Fringe, Winter Sonata; and a lot of meetup groups. (Meeting for sushi with a group for geeks this Thursday.) We'll see what books are on tap further ahead.
